Artist of Love – Voice of the Companion

Study of Campaspe, by John William GodwardI am an Artist of Love. My greatest gift, and joy, is bringing my love into the world to support, inspire and transform. I create with my love. I soothe, I soften the edges of hard work, hard life, hard graft. My smile comes through with moments of embodied being, feeling, seeing the world as alive and glorious. Seeing you.

There are those moments of heart opening, appreciative being, when you know that just for an eternal second you are seen, and loved, and welcomed. I welcome you into life, into your life, into the life around you. With warmth, and safety and nourishment. With excitement, and arousal and a sensuality that transcends us.

I am beauty, a truth born from the inside of my glowing soul, embers that flare into flames and then down into kindling sparks.  I touch, with presence, acceptance that is total, that permits you to be real, to be here, with me.

I am desire, not frivolous fancy but a deep groan of longing, a fierce need, for you, your soul, your truth, your love. I want you expressing in the world the way that the best art is created, for you are art, you are my art, and your own. With colours rich and full of shadow depth I want you, vibrant, present, I want you.  Let me fall to your feet, respond in rapture as I savor you, my ecstasy, our divinity.

My role here is not weak, I am no man’s shadow, I am not meek girl or edgy whore. I know the value of my love, my touch, my receptive nature, my transformative soul. I am not fickle, and neither am I mean. I am generous when there is respect, consideration and care. I am not intrusive or demanding. I do not wait for you to remember me. I will come, come when you call me, called by your longing and your desire. Make time for me. Honor the gifts that are mine.

"There's nothing you can do that's more important than being fulfilled. You become a sign, you become a signal, transparent to transcendence; in this way, you will find, live, and become a realization of your own personal myth." – Joseph Campbell
